Checking e-mail, watching a video or surfing the Internet, people do this not only on their PCs or laptops, but they are also increasingly using their smartphones to access this information. Such has been the development in telecommunications that it is almost unimaginable being without access to the Internet or e-mail. [1]

Connecting to the world. When you hear it what do you think? Its not connecting with your mom or your friends or your neighbor. Its connecting with the people around the world. So you cant just go and talk to them. If we try to call them it costs a lot. So we have to find a new way to talk to them. The cheapest and easiest way is internet. Connecting The World ONLINE!!! Internet is being more common than before because people are getting used to it learn it and finding new ways to connect with the people. They learned that internet is a network of networks that consists of millions of private and public, academic, business, and government networks of local to global scope that are linked by a broad array of electronic and optical networking technologies. The Internet is allowing greater flexibility in working hours and location, especially with the spread of unmetered high-speed connections and web applications.
And they started to use it! [2]

In our case, kids aren’t disillusioned, advertisers are, along with people actually trying to find useful information and services on the internet. What will be left when all the dust has settled—and it hasn’t settled yet—are a few solid, well-managed companies that will form the core of the Web and the Internet’s future. The day of endless free stuff on the web is coming to a close. It may be replaced with a foolish economic model requiring endless and expensive subscriptions to services most people would rarely use. It may be built on a model that allows a whole lot of people to pay a tiny price for accessing those tiny pieces of information they actually need, either through micropayments or some sort of collective purchase system, a la AOL. If it is the former, the Web will grow slowly. If it is the latter, it will grow vigorously. Either way, it will grow. With people actually getting paid for information, the quality of that information will grow. Today's low-yield glimpses of what ones are searching for will be replaced with solid, well-written material ones can really use. So ones can connect to the world online and get the information they need.

The Internet has become an increasingly important feature of the learning environment for teenagers. Research by the Pew Internet & American Life Project in November and December 2000 shows that teens use the Internet as an essential study aid outside the classroom and that the Internet increasingly has a place inside the classroom. Teens and parents report that Internet is vital to completing school projects and has effectively replaced the library for a large number of online youth.71% of students report using the Internet at their primary source for their last major project, and they also report accessing online study aids like Sparknotes or CliffsNotes. So internet is helpful for their education and students are getting helped.
